One thing to consider when running a motor test for noise, if one or more clutches need to be energized to put the full operational load on the motor you may not get the noise.

I found the issue with the intermittent noise. It was caused by the paper support guide in the bridge unit being slightly out of position and hitting the drive rollers.
After correctly seating the plastic guide plate, the noise has not occurred since👍 3Comment

Run output check for each motor don't run the whole machine!

The machine was upgraded to an IM C4510 series.
I brought the (MFD) back to replicate the noise, but I was unable to do so.
When I tried to slightly remove the paper guide plate in the bridge unit, it would jam. I attempted various methods to make the noise reoccur, but nothing worked.
The machine has since been refurbished and installed at another site, and there have been no issues.
Ultimately, the source of the noise remains a mystery.👍 1Comment
