Rioch Pro C5110s - Toner Stains

    Hello,

We have a Rioch Pro C5110s that we got second hand.
We had a technician do all maintenance.

But now the printer is staining the prints with toner drops specifically black.

Drums, PCU & Developer was changed. All Original Parts.

Call the technician back, how long since service, how many prints have you done since it was serviced.

Do you really think it's that easy. Toner stains, oh sure, I know what the problem is just from that description.

That's like saying my car won't start, tell me why.

We had a message requesting to chance the CYAN PCU Unit.
Technician did that and then it started staining our prints.

He says he doesnt know what else to do, because all the maintenance was done.

We're printing on 12x18 Cover Gloss paper.
Aso the tech is just doing a favor because our printer is no longer serviced by Ricoh.

          I appreciate your feedback

With color production copiers you do not replace just one PCU. You do a complete maintenance rebuild of all 4 PCDU. What it appears that you are getting is toner dropping from a development unit most like because the developer is shot. Either that or is drastically over toned.

Does this happen on every copy or does it clear after 1 or 2 pages pass through?
