    Ricoh Login credentials

Another question about the older MP501 SP's. I have a customer that wants the correct date and time programmed in administrator tools, but I don't have the log in credentials to do it. The usual Admin or Supervisor does not allow me in which means someone along the way must have changed it and the machine is so old they don't know who serviced in the past or what the login was changed to. Any suggestions to get me in?

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.

Once logged in they will be able to change the date and time but if they are having a problem with the wrong time appearing emails it won't help. They use the "real time clock" based on the local time zone setting and the time at the SMTP server when it receives the email. The local time zone must be set in SP mode SP 5302.
