    @remote question

    For a copier that has a programmed number in it for @remote that is our number, but is not reporting. Is there a way to go in and clear or reset it and reuse the same number to make it work again or do I still need to have Ricoh take it off their server. Then reinstall a new number. I just hate waiting for their response and waiting for it to be cleared from their servers before I can input a new number. I have a feeling it cant be but just thought I would ask.

    Ps I know older ones will not report and some companies block it.

    SP 5811-201 set to 0 I believe will clear all current settings on the MFP.

      5816-201 will clear it from the device. But the @remote administrator needs to clear it from the server as well.

        Before wiping the registration number and starting over, check to make sure the customer didn't make changes to their firewall rules. Many times IT restricts traffic outside of North America. Since the @Remote Server resides in Japan it gets blocked.

        You can't reuse the registration number. SP Mode 5816-209 will clear the @Remote number. You'll need to rewrite the certificate as well SP 5870-3 and 5870-4. Must reboot.
        The old registration number has to be cleared from the @Remote server as well. **Note: If this device is registered inside your depot, then you can remove it yourself and not have to rely on Ricoh support to do it.** Then re-register device.
