As you can see, it is not only the drum, or Dr. blade, neither charge roller nor cleaning roller.
There is also a drum lubricant bar, a lubricant brush...and many factors which affect the behaviour
of these parts...they do not last for ever!!

I think you should change the charge roller too, as mentioned before...

The difference here is experience and country dynamics relative to man hour cost.
Since, it may or may not be viable for you to change the expensive PCU unit you could always try and test the different combinations of Drum/charge roller/lube bar or a kit.
However it shall be your experience of what consumables options you have available in your country and also, your work experience of which of those options work.
It will be a scatter shot if anyone gives you a thumbs up to change the drum or a charge roller etc. unless one itself has tried and tested in the same environment, which is not a case here.
Thank you for reading and good luck with your endeavors!

One should at least try and get a kit from a source with at least a little reputation. For now I can say that Katuns Kits seem to work - we just installed one yesterday in a machine that is suppose to last a few more month before a possible replacement. With a little experience you're done within 30mins so even in a high labour costs enviroment it can make sense "to mess around a little" in certain cases, especially in "end of life" situations. Katun includes an OEM charge roller assembly too the kit, that's why it's not really the cheapest one there. AFAIK these kits are - surprise - currently not available of course.

If you buy the cheapest parts from the cheapest dealers it's probably more likely to run into troubles and in this case sometimes it's hard to tell what's wrong. If another charge roller doesn't affect the prob it might still be the prob or it also can be the drum. You can try and interchange parts between the faulty and a working drum unit to isolate the problem. Hope you won't end up with to faulty units at the end^^

Seen this so many times. Cheap crappy Chinese parts, cheap crappy Chinese toners. Also, it seems also the charge roller is not rotating smoothly, maybe the little white drive gear has a problem/not installed right way round ? Also, you mention 'new charge roller', bare in mind the 'new' cheap crappy Chinese rollers don't have the microns spacing from the surface of the drum as the OEM ones do and in effect act as a cleaning roller on the surface of the drum.

Thanks, man, for the answer , I took another unit and tried to isolate the problem , of course the parts are Chinese , but they were working on a "new" unit, the only thing I didn't change was the gears , it 's probably that , but I've lost interest in bothering with this. Thanks again and if I ever have time I 'll change the gears
