hello, how do you activate the nic setting on this machine? I know that in other machines it is in sp mode 5985, also I don't know why in sp mode it says that it is a sp4510dn

Re: Ricoh sp4520dn nic disable, error 404
I think the issue is that someone has set 'IEEE 802.1X Authentication for ethernet' to active.
It must be set to inactive.

System setting
Interface settings
I literally just had a customer turn it on last week thinking they could resolve a connection error, because why would it have ANYTHING to do with their new router???!
EDIT...I just activated it on a machine in my office and the Web message for that is "the site can't be reached" so it's probably not what you're looking for.
To be clear are you only having an issue with the Web interface, but are able to print?
If so, then Terramobil is right, you can enable it with telnet, but it's also in the SP mode somewhere in SP5 (I believe) under Network or something like that.Last edited by sandmanmac; 03-08-2022, 04:21 PM. -

my recipe: I would try with a nic reset via sp, if it doesn't work then a full reset, and then a nice firmware update, are the leds on the ethernet port off? it could also be faulty, however, it seems strange to me that one goes to disable the network card (?)"loneliness is an invention of the white man, when we are alone we talk to everything around us, we are never alone" (Ojibwa)Comment
