Ricoh IMC - Functional Error Detected

Good afternoon! I am having major issues with this Ricoh IMC6000. The machine gives me a functional error detected screen (see pics) and then once I restart it it goes away temporarily. I went into the service mode to check whatever the recent errors were and there was nothing today (see pics of recent errors). I tried to print configuration page and make a copy, they both just stall out and don't do anything (see pics). I have no clue what this issue is has anyone seen this before or know of a fix for this? Any help is appreciated thank you all!

I recently had functional errors and ended up being something with the black developer unit. I changed PCDU and problem solved.

Some Sc codes are not displayed in the history...which I agree is dumb
However it seems that SC auto reboot is set to on (SP5-875-001)
If you set this to "0" (off) the SC code should be displayed rather than auto reboot.
My bet is on an SC672-xx
If I'm right, then by "temporarily" do you mean a few minutes or a few days?
If it stays away for a day or 2 it might be as simple as a Defective HDD, but if it's a matter of minutes, then it typically ends up being a defective controller.

      Good luck

There are certain types of SCs that may not be recorded in the SC history. Change SP5-875-001 [SC Auto Reboot] Reboot Setting. Then it will display the actual error code that caused it to stop instead of that useless Functional Error Message that tells you absolutely nothing. You can then troubleshooting the actual error.

It will usually work briefly for a few minutes, then i'll try to copy, or print, and it just idles on the loading screen for either the copier or print. Then maybe a few minutes later it will do the functional error detected again. it is SUCH a pain in the ass LOL never had this issue with any other brand

Tried all of the stuff in the comments and the machine has previous error codes and none are from this month even though the error has happened earlier today. It is still failing I don't have the slightest clue how to fix this lol, I wonder if its maybe the motherboard or controller? I don't know much about Ricoh's unfortunately

Spend a dime and call a trained technician.

I have not had this problem but I was recently sent an email with a document that had a solution for this family of copiers that freezes up when printing or copying because it has 3rd party toner in it. When looking at your picture "Error Log 2" this may be a fix. Copier Freezes.docx

Its insane to me that a customer has a machine like this and does not have a service plan in place with a factory authorized dealer.
