Has the LED head been cleaned? If not a couple of emitters on it could have been fried.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Agreed.
Remove the whole pcu.
Press the blue lever on the side so the prinheaf lowers into the cavity.
Gently wipe with soft cloth.
Gently release blue lever to home print head.
Reinstall pcu assembly, close front cover and test

I think same.. maybe even OPC is defective or some hair, dirt between laser and OPC.....Comment
