mpc307 ITB unit removal - difficult

mpc307 ITB removal difficulty - Album on Imgur
    Hoi,
I have removed F.U. and all pcdu's before removal, but still I had to remove the total (paper transfer) unit on the right door to obtain access for removal of the ITB unit.
    See some pictures in appendix.
We have here a imc300 and that removal is without any problems.

Do you have experienced this problem too on a mpc307?

The door has to be completely flat against the desk to remove the ITB unit, even then it still puts up a bit of a fight.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

With the door completely lowered and playing with it a little delicately as the companion says, it goes out.

AFAIK it's been the same since the MPC305. As other said, open the right door as far as possible and then lift the ITB a little bit while you pull it out.

I have removed the stopper at the rear side and the spring at the front side.
But i think the door is not opening enough, for a reason i can not understand yet.
But i also think this door is the issue.
Thanks for helping, have a nice weekend.

mrwho, I have already replaced the ITB at customers office.
I had to remove the paper transfer unit holder completely.
I'm glad i don't have to return at this customer, so the reason why this door didn't open completely will stay a mystery until next visit.
              I'l keep you informed, though.

I am repairing a mpc307 (which I know little) in the laboratory, it is disassembled here waiting for the registration clutch, I have not encountered this problem.
I removed the fuser, the metal stop (1 screw) the plastic strap (1 screw) and released the spring ....
more than anything else (not to have too much stuff lying around) I was trying to put the ITB in the machine, but I can't put it on, tomorrow when the spare arrives, I try to understand better
