[Error Code] mp 5054 with sc 554_2

I have an mp5054 with code sc 554, the firmware version is 1.06, and the sp 5 810 does not appear.in a later firmware version, if it appears.Do you know how to reset the code, I mean how to reset the fuse spike?
    P.D. entering with reset + 806182 + C and with reset 143 + C + C, the SP 5 810 does not appear either.P.D. entering with reset + 806182 + C and with reset 143 + C + C, the SP 5 810 does not appear either.

Please edit post and remove confidential codes?

If there is nothing wrong with fuser you can reset with a fuse or try the switch trick (never managed to do the switch trick successfully myself though)

Then you have a bigger problem than just the fusing unit. You may have loaded a corrupt firmware file or loaded firmware for the wrong type of operation panel. Or both.

Sorry I didn't have my glasses on!

The service manual does state it should be there.

I would try updating the firmware.

Really Ricoh...I have had a great confidence in Ricoh based on what I've read but those bulletins Mika and CT posted are quite disturbing. May be a bad model though.

                      Don't panic about Mika's post.
That's a just a workaround that some savvy techs have developed in order to NOT have to spend $20 or so on the PICO fuse (which is typically required) in order to reset the code when one is not replacing the entire heating element. I've made one, and use it regularly.

                      ......and they're a great model.

As for the poster stating that SP5810 doesn't exist? He won't resolve his SC code issue until he resolves that one. It's absolutely necessary

With one exception, every fusing sleeve I have ever replaced was done when the PM count was exceeded. That meant that I did not need the fuse that came in the box with the sleeve. As a result I got to where I carried at least 2 in my parts bag for when I had a thermostat or thermistor go south. Are people throwing them away with the packing when they do a PM replacement?

Make sure that ALL firmware is up to date. Make sure it is the correct firmware for the type on operation panel. After that your problem could be a bad NVram, It could be a bad Controller board or a bad BCU board.

Well respectfully Tim, I guess you were very lucky, but we all are in very different situations, including (possibly) access to genuine parts in some cases. (My case)
My most recent example would be 2 x Cxx02 fuser sleeve failures last week alone, that failed more due to time, and toner build up on the entrance guides, than usage.
Therfore, I'm only replacing the sleeve (generic) as a cost saving measure, and not the entire heating element.
The are 2 recent examples of the convenience of the reset jig
