You may also want to see if the SOP Designer is still available from rfgesource.

Question on this please. Is there a place where I can download the firmware files?

Either TSRC or RFG-eaource. Both are only accessible if you are with an authorized dealer who has setup access for you.

        Update on this machines:

        SP5846-46

I was able to get to System SP settings as the HDD was missing. However when I go into System SP I do not see the

46 line under the SP5846. Is there something I am missing here?

It is only available from factory SP mode.

At least it used to do it.
With all due respect tonerhead.....Factory SP mode should not be posted in a public forum in my opinion (and I don't think I'm alone on that).
I was actually pleased to see there is an error, so It won't work.
If you want to share instructions privately, that's up to you.

remember when the Metis series came out and they changed the SP mode entry. They did that because far too many end users had the old code and were damaging machines because of it. I have even seen pressure rollers melted to hot rollers because an operator kept clearing a fusing unit error. What if they decided to change the factory SP code next and not tell anyone. Hell they could even start changing it with a firmware update. Couple that with the firmware update tools and you better be on very good terms with your regional rep.
