Lanier LD 620C - Scanner White-ish Images - No Hardware Errors

I have Lanier 620D, the prints are fine from PC.

Copy & Scanning are producing white washed copies & scanned images.
I have increased the contrast level in SP mode. which helped a little.
I have cleaned the mirror slots & lens multiple times, still no gain.

SBU cable is also fine un-plugged & plugged again. same results.

Kindly guide I don't want to reset the scanner as it will cause more issue for alignment & etc.

What sort of mileage do you have on the consumables? Worn drums and developers can cause odd problems like this.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Total mileage of 320,000 incl. color, black & white prints.

      Update:
cleaned the bottom of white plate (Dirty standard white plate-SC101)
& the exposure glass, it had some double sticky tape on it.

the result is fine now with the contrast to 255 in SP settings.

Cleaning all the optics was the first thing to do ... then down with the user mode copy calibration.

SC101 is seldom a dirty white plate, and even if it was, if you peeled that "double sticky tape" off the bottom of the exposure, guess what, that was the white reference plate. You now need to order a new exposure glass A2501752
EXPOSURE GLASS. And don't worry about not being available, the same part number was still in use for the CXX04 models. SC101 is usually either dirty mirrors, dirty lamp reflector, bad lamp or bad lamp regulator board.

Let's see, 320,000 on a model that was releases 11 years ago. That averages out to as little as 2.4K a months. Either you have a extremely under utilized machine, some of my customers could make more than that in a day, or you have a machine that has set for a rather long period of time. Either way, it would be best if you replaced all four PCDU.

Yes cleaning the optics is what I did in the first plate and left that sticky tape (Not by OEM). which was fixed to catch the paper dust sliding under the exposure glass.

              Thank you for your reply.

that sticky tape was not from OEM, the original one is still intact.
I cleaned the white plate as I got SC101 error during SBU test print, that lead me to fix the problem. else I was going to buy SBU unit.
Yes the machine is under utilized and yes CYAN & YELLOW PCDU have spots now. Will change the units. Cheers.
