I think he wants someone to hold his hands right down to the exact place within WIM and User Tools to make the change(s).

thank you for your time and reply

I could not find the [User Tools]

          but

i used my grey matter, and sorted out the issue.

          • Configuration
          • Scanner
          • Send Settings
            • Host Name / Manual Entry [ Blank ]
            • Insert Additional Email Info [ Off ]

it would have been a lot easier if i had someone holding my Hands with me in the WIM (which i had to google search )

not bad for the "One Post Wonder from London"

so guys you did help me Thank You.

Now how can i set the display to Double Side Scan with the press of One Button. not the current long winded process of several buttons.

          regards

You should have started your first post with the fact that you are not a Ricoh trained technician. T Hat way we would have known not to use terms that every Ricoh technician technician knows by heart, as well as most end users since the instructions are in the Operator's Manual, something you could have read online at Ricoh-UK.

If you want double sided scan as default, then make the settings required on the screen, then press the programme button (diamond with an arrow pointing to the left), and select programme as defaults. If you don't want it as default, but want it as a shortcut, do as above, but in the programme button, programme it to one of the numbers, and give it a name (e.g. 2 sided scan), and save it. Then, go to user tools (a diamond symbol / box with 123 in it), press edit home, then you can add icon, select programme, then scanner programmes, and select your setting, and choose where on the screen to place it

                Debs

what can I say you are a Wizard, your country needs you.

Clear, Concise, and straight to the point.

for someone who has trouble tying up his shoe laces, your instructions were clear and concise.

                AND YOU SOLVED THE PROBLEM

                Thank you so much.

Now does anyone know how to tie a Double Bow on my Plimsoles

                Regards

I thought I should help a fellow Londoner (although I escaped many years ago)

Debs isn't a wizard. She is one of the top Ricoh techs on this site and most likely the best one in the UK.
