MP301 with SC code not listed

    MP301 with SC code not listed

    Not sure if this is the right area of the forum for this but :

    Has anyone else ever had a SC code (service code) that wasn't listed in the service manual?

    I was working on a MP301 yesterday and it came up with a SC532. I checked the service manual for the MP301 and it didn't have anything listed for that code.

    I resolved the issue. It was the fan on the controller being disconnected. I was changing the controller due to a SC672 and forgot to reconnect the controller fan.

    But anyway, anyone ever experience that?

      Yeah this can happen, sometimes it's worth to check if there's a new manual version available or bulletins - same goes for parts guides.

          Thanks. Yeah I checked for updates but unfortunately that was the latest I had

              That code is missing from the manual, but there's a bulletin about it

                  That code is listed in the book I have here in the US. Maybe it didn't make it into the EU version.

                      Ok. I don't have that bulletin. Was looking for bulletins on it but didn't find anything on my company computer. Haven't had any updates in a while

                              You must have a newer version than the one I have. Mine shows a created date of 9/19/2012 and a modification date of 9/25/2012 in the pdf file properties and does not list that code.
