Hi,

delivered an C4504 last week.
Customer used to detect and delete a blanco page when scanning. (with his previous macbine)

Now I'm not sure, but to do the same with an C4504 do I need to install an OCR unit on it
I know that there's a configuration to detect an blanco page, but that doesn't delete it immediately.

i checked on own 4054 here in lab, there is, in (user tools>scanner>scan settings>recognize white page) p.s. I think it is written like this, mine is in Italian

it recognize yes, but without OCR it is not deleted . . .

I think there is no deletion, this was introduced with the IMC series and only in the modern user interface

hi...my apologize, i have read bad the model name, but litte change...i read the manual page, and i confirm your suspect, the manual say that the machine dont delete the white page, but emit a beep for advise you of white page are detected.
