    Ricoh MP C6000 Developer Unit

My Ricoh Aficio MP C6000 needs to replenish Black drum developer.
I can't figure out how to pull the developer unit in order to get at the four drums.
I Removed the upper left and right screws but unit won't slide out.
Are there other screws to remove in order to slide out developer and drum units?
    Thank you,
    Dana

It is fully explained step by step in the Service Manual, REPLACEMENTS AND ADJUSTMENTS - COMMON PROCEDURES - TONER HOPPER, FACEPLATE, PCU.

How can you decide to replace or reinstate black developer if you don't know the steps to get there. What's wrong with this old box?

I was trained for this series back then but never became a friend. There's really a lot you can do wrong and the machine won't forgive you.
Getting the old dev out of the unit takes a lot of patience and if you do it wrong the filling process will fail wich is kind of a write off for the new developer.

BTW the developer unit is the toner hopper unit - i think there was a third screw at the center...

There is a center screw for the toner hopper on that toner belching monster but that just allows you slide the hopper out on it rails. And you damn well better have a well magnetized screw driver to remove otherwise you will drop the screw down into the toner hopper or the fusing unit. Follow the instructions in the service manual or you will damage the toner hopper.
