How to Install the send Meter App on Ricoh Copiers SOP
Re: How to Install the send Meter App on Ricoh Copiers SOP
I was able to install the send meter app with the SOP designer Tool, and I configure it and everything seems fine, but when try to use it it fails, and says authentication error... And I have an Office 365 SMTP that is working fine with the scan to email function on that machine... Maybe I'm missing something...

If I remember correctly, both Microsoft and Google changed their security policies with authentication services.
Does the account you use for the Office 365 service use 2-step verification? Maybe that's the problem. You'll need to create a specific key for "device validation." Review your Microsoft account settings.

Thank you for your reply.
I don't have the 2 steps verification... and on the sender email I'm using the the same as SMTP used on scan to email function that is working fine on the machine...

Make sure that SMTP Auth is enabled on the sending account. While Microsoft is enabling multifactor authentication for access to mail accounts, SMTP authentication is exempt from that requirement.
