IM3000 scanner Icon (classic and app) different defaults destinations

Hi all

Can a user default the different scanner Icon's/apps to have a different default scan to folder on one icon and a scan to email as a default on the other one
with out having user codes the user doesn't want to have to select the drop down menu to select scan to folder/destination

Unless they have drastically changed the Classic scanner function you should be able to set either folder or email as the Default for the function in User Tools.

I think he wants one to have the folder list as default and one to have the email list as the default. I believe that both apps maintain their own settings but don't hold me to that, just try it to be sure.

Hi all

Thanks for the help I want both apps to maintain their own defaults but if I program either of them the defaults get changed on both tried it in use tools and in the apps themselves neither worked

What about Classic scan and quick scan?

It's really a stupid request but client says it's to time consuming to have to select between scan to email and folder(like really is it) hence the reason for me asking this question but would love to know if its possible with quick scan you still need to select which option to scan to either folder or email before selecting the destination
