Change developer powder ricoh mp c3003

Good morning everyone, I'm Spanish, sorry for the translation, but I need help please.

I have a ricoh mp c3003 which I have removed the developer unit and I have put new developer powder, the technicians tell me that this can not be done, you have to change the whole unit, but I want to try.

Before doing anything I changed the value from 0 to 1 in SP5-990-004.

After disassembling, cleaning well, putting new developer powder and placing everything I have done:

SP 3701-003: changed value from 0 to 1 (at power up it sounds like feeding toner...)

    Sp3 050-003: 4 times at least.

Result, the copy comes out too light, I don't know why it doesn't come out completely black.
After 50 copies with completely black pattern the best I get is this:

The technicians that told you this can't be done are right & now you can see why.

Yeah it's not worth the effort - IIRC the dev units aren't even pricey

Upload some better samples please. Are you a Ricoh technician? You should never have forced toner, let alone 3X especially when you have done 3701-003 to let the machine know it is a new unit.

Now you have couple of issues. Serious over toning, that line across the page is either hardened toner/clumped toner in your developer unit/dirty laser. Have you made sure your drum unit is assembled properly? If its not grounded properly you will also get blacked out patterns.

Upload counter page / PDF Font page with multiple prints.

NON OEM Developer Can work but it has to be good quality made in japan. Non OEM Toner, God help you with that.

If it works, don't touch it.

Ok, I understand, I was a technician but 10 years ago, now just a user only.
I don't have the machine now but I will disassemble the unit again and take precaution when installing it again, the clear stripe doesn't matter to me, but the fact that it doesn't develop well.
I will try again on Monday

3 possible reasons. And it could be all 3 combined.
                1. Incompatible developer
                2. Not enough developer
                3. You damaged something in attempting to replace developer. This is the main reason Ricoh doesn't sell developer powder for the 03.

I'll go with all of the above for $500, Alex.

If he is not an authorized Ricoh dealer, He might actually be paying full retail.
