C9200 Failing to calibrate with the inline sensor

Got an odd one hopefully someone has seen it before.

I am trying to calibrate the paper with the inline sensor and I get an error saying The measurement job failed to print and measure. I am able to calibrate matte but for some reason glossy isn't working at the moment. I have tried resetting the calibration to default, using the ES-2000 then trying to use the inline after that and that hasn't changed anything.

Have hope some one has seen if so I don't have to reload the fiery. lol

I have attached a picture of the error I get on the fiery

    thanks

Have you cleaned TIM-RED ? There is a video nugget on TSRC that shows how to clean the TIM-RED optics.

Thanks I didn't think about that, I cleaned both the TIM-RED and MAG to no luck. Was a chore but got them really cleaned up, I am sure it would have caused me some other problems in the near future so glad I got it done. Probably reload the fiery this next week will update if I find something else out.

Are the test prints coming out face up?

I'm not directly familiar with the C9200 but what type of sensors are they. Then lens on some sensors can be damaged if not cleaned properly. They should be cleaned only with a soft camera lens brush of with a soft lint free cotton cloth slightly dampened with water only. If the cloth is not soft enough it can scratch the lens. If it is not cotton it can generate static that can damage the sensor. Anything other than water can leave a film or chemically etch the surface.

The one is a CCD the others are CIS. Thanks for the tips I am fully aware of the sensitivity of the assemblies.

It doesn't even try to print the test print. It waits a bit then the error comes up. When calibrating the matte it comes out face up.
