This is one of the Ricoh production machines that was rebadged as a Kyocera a couple of years ago. Tray 1 (both sides) is stuck in the machine, can't be pulled out to refill it. We have had two techs out to this machine so far, and neither one could figure out what's holding it in. I have been asked to go take a look, thought I would try to get some input on it first. Thanks.

Re: Ricoh 8120S (Kyocera 13600)
That has been a problem with the tandem tray on the B/W martini machines forever when user slams the tray back in too hard. With the flimsy metal they build them with now it is even worse. You can try disconnecting the downstream options and remove the lower cover. That might allow you to see the latch assembly. If not you need to start disassembling both sides from the front until you can access the latch assembly. After 2 or 3 you will get to where you can do it in about ten minutes. Be prepared to have to replace any bent parts. -

Remove tray 2, then look between tray 1 and 2, the tray was probably slammed shut and jumped over the stopper. Pry the tray up over the stopper and pull on it.
If it's not that, then like Slim said, start taking it apart till you get to the problem.Comment

I got it out, thanks guys. Yes, there was clear evidence that users had slammed that drawer closed pretty hard. But I was able to straighten out the metal pieces with some pliars, and with a few terse comments to the customer, I was on my way. Thanks again!Comment
