    Firmware Update Failed

    Hello all,

    I am trying to update firmware of Ricoh 5054 MP MFD using Ricoh firmware update tool

    Below is the error code which i am getting while updating the firmware..

    Pay to have a trained technician do it for you. RTFU frequent means Ricoh Fuck Up Tool, especially when used by an untrained technician. Any interruption in the data flow will error out and you may have an unusable machine. If you are not an authorized technician, you will only see end user information in Ricoh Portal.

      I have 100+ machines and paying them for each one will cost us huge.

      Just looking for any other better option.

          Pay to get one updated, then ask the tech for the firmware to update the others on your own.

            Haven't work with that tool since a while - does it download any firmware/package data and store it in some sort of temp folder?

            Does your machine boot?
