I have been working on a MP C5503 for a little over a week. It all started with a SC-442. In the process of replacing the ITB lift motor I think I may have caused the machine to begin giving the SC-664-01 codes. I have swapped the BCU and IOB engine with no success. Not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions? Thanks

Re: MP C5503 with SC664-01
First of all Sc442-00 not lift motor... It's ITB motor sensor which is blocked by toner. Remove ITB, locate sensor btw C and M pcdu, clean sensor and machine is back, there's a permanent solution to sc442-00, I've come across this code on eventually on 03/04 series, the solutions are simple, if u need it, I can help you with it.Comment

Re: MP C5503 with SC664-01
Attached is DEVELOPER UNIT SEAL for RICOH MPC 03/04 Series, order from any online store where it's been sold.
Replace the new seal with old one. Kindly note "DO NOT REMOVE OLD SEAL" just add the new SEAL to it. Because it is is due to toner that's been spilled btw hopper to developer unit that's causing SC442-00.
Try it and thank me later.
Done it for several clients who had sc442-00 nightmares, till now I've not been called regards sc442-00.Attached FilesComment
