Ricoh 402 duplex jams

Only when duplexing, I am getting frequent jams as the paper enters the inverter area. I believe the sensor going into the
inverter may be dirty or bad.
Is there a way to get to that sensor for cleaning without major disassembly ?

(This would be the same for the 401)

try to blow the sensor with a can of compressed air and clean all the rubber rollers well
