happy new year MP 307 Yellow not toning

MP C307 Yellow toner bottle is turning, i checked the contacts, there is toner in the hopper, toner does come out of the sub hopper where it enters the PCDU the bottle is turning, replaced the bottle, still no yellow loading
client has taken the bottle out and shook it a few times, the machine loads ,, but now not happening...
I manually loaded toner into the PCDU as a test, three times still the machine calls for y toner , and the toner seems to be agitating in the PCDU, if the sub hopper isnt working would not there be a code?
i want to lean towards changing the PCDU,
any suggestions? thanks

yeah well if the PCDU gets changed and we have the same issue then that was a very expensive non fix, thats why i ask here to see if anyone has been through these issues
and see if there was a different solution.

Griffin Series are PITA if it bugs down. Anyway, opened one today because of toner spills. The assembly that holds the toners Y and M are full of hardened toner. Had to open all stuff from the back. after cleaning the assemblies, worked like magic.
Try servicing the toner transport assembly. Maybe a bad toner chunk blocked the transport.

Is it for printing only?? Or print and copy as well???

If you understand correctly, the toner from the bottle to the PCDU, is transported correctly.
But, the device indicates that "No toner"?


Could it be that the hopper toner sensor is not responding correctly? The sensors are the same, exchange it with the one of another color.

it is copying in black only but not printing in blk only
ill get to it today or tomorrow and report back
