    MP3554sp set fusing unit corectly

    hi,just replaced original ricoh fusing sleew unit,and thermostats and what now?It say set fusing unit corectly.any advice?

    YOU obviously caused this during the service.
    It worked before YOU took it apart, and now it doesn't.
    YOU obviously have damaged something, left something disconnected, etc.
    (there is a theme developing here....)
    Yet somehow, WE should have the answer.
    Check your work.

      thanks for the answer.but the saddest thing is that unit have 2 screw and 3 connector to remove and i servicing that model for long period,and this is first time with this problem.but again thanks.

        Check the jumper wire on one connector, you may have pulled it out.

          Cross check the jumper wire in connector with the old one and change the pin order.

            Some models require resetting the PM of the replaced units.

              make sure you have ordered the correct spare part for that model, if the jumper is positioned differently, it means that it is for another model of the same series, it may have some limitations in power management, you can instead change the jumper manually to adapt the sleeve from a higher model, to a lower one (tested from 4054 to 2554)

                jumper on thermistor...one wire moved to the right place and fixed..
