    Ricoh Pro C901s bad prints

    Hello,

I only use this machine, and am unable to get any professional help.
This started happening relatively suddenly. I've forced toner twice, but before I break the machine by messing around with it I wanted to see what you might think the prints linked below suggest.
    Thanks in advance

You might tell us what the current meter counts are and when it last had a preventive maintenance service.

Everything with an asterisk (*) is past due for replacing. Most of them could be the cause of your problem.

I know you won't like this question, but company I work for is a bit tight on budget, so do you have any idea what I should start with, or maybe any further diagnostics I should do perform?

Write an estimate to replace what is beyond PM specification, hand it to your boss and ask him if he wished to lose a customer.

So here's what you do. Is the problem only with black? If yes, then start swapping everything around the drum, including the drum itself, to other colors until the problem moves to the other color. Then you know what is causing the problem.

You really are going to have to replace all of those PM parts that are overdue if you expect to get decent copy quality out of this machine.

Also, get a humidifier if the humidity is low in there.

could be dirty laser target glass, due to aged developer or bad or dirty K dev magnet roller or worn out K dev entrance seal...
fix the customer first then fix the machine... its simple and makes life more easy.
