    IMC2000 LT SC670-03 !!

    Hi,

Installed this new IMC2000LT at customer
after pluggin in the UTP it gives a SC670-03 error.

Strange, after repowering the machine first started up, used another UTP cable, it worked,
than after an half our suddenly again SC670-03, machine gives an restart because of an functional problem

After that the machine did not come in ready state, waiting for an half our . . . no ready, just blue screen.

So went backt to the store, when powering the machine no problems now, starts up and no problems with the network

    Whats up here !!!

Anyone a clue . . driving me crazy

    George

We have had SC670 codes caused by a faulty application printing. Does the code appear when the network plug is plugged in?

If so, put the copier on DHCP and print using the hostname instead, and see if it re-occurs.

If it still does; you will have to ask what was printing, try and get a raw file (tick the Print To File option), and send the file to Ricoh for analysis.

Make sure the firmware is up to date.

I just tell them not to print the file again Usually "Print-to-SC Code" is a feature caused by bad generic drivers or ports.

Check the power coming from the wall. Try another outlet.

If you still having trouble, try the IM C2000 to a hub/switch then to just your laptop. If that works, try dropping a hub/switch between the customers network and the IM C2000.

Use a different IP address when you put in back on the network, could have someone trying to print to a different machine on that IP number.
