    Ricoh MPC6003

    Dear all

I have installed a Ricoh MPC6003 but I have experienced some lags (more than 1 minutes) when I finished to print out some documents from pc and started to make some photocopies. It seems like the machine is verify or testing or performing some controls before starting a new function. Have you already had some experienced concerning this problem?

Do you the Data Overwrite Security enabled, or Data Overwrite Security Unit Type H / I installed?

Sounds like it is running Process Control (Pro Con). Check SP 3533-001 and -011 and SP 3534-001 and -011. SP 3533 will interrupt during a job. SP 3534 will interrupt at the end of a job. If the set number of page have occurred since the last Pro Con, it will run again. Default is 500. Setting to 0 will disable but may cause slight decline in image quality.

Could also be the HDD is getting a bit tired. Try also disabling SP5730, switch the Java off.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

          WSD printing?
Are you using the correct port and print driver?

            dear colleagues

I have checked all the process control you have written as a reply to this thread and the machine now is becoming faster.

            Thank you very much
