    Gestetner Dsm 632 - same as Ricoh 1027

    The machine each month shows the Sc 541-542- 546
    The thermostat is okay I keep replacing the 2 Thermistor .but the problem comes again some times after 2 hours or next day.
    Please advice

      mayby the connector of fusing unit is bad check it up wiring and thermostat for bad connecton good luck

          Make sure the thermostats are also all reading good and check the wall voltage as well, a little more or a little less coming through the line and the fuser will freak out.
          Also, is firmware up to date? There were a few changes made in regards to at least SC 542 detection.

              Yep that connector on the fuser side can be troublesome. Sometimes you just gotta replace the whole unit. It will be cheaper than another service call.

                  There was an RTB or something knocking around a while ago for the Russian C2 or C3, can't remember which. Get yourself a piece of cardboard and place it behind the HV board to assist electrical noise shielding. It's worth a try.
                  It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                      If it's the one with the "Bitch" connectors (The red double ended female connectors) clipped into the the fuser frame they were known to cause problems. worth changing with the thermistors.

                      As mentioned, check the SBCU (Engine) firmware, was modified to prevent SC541 ...European version 3.28 (3.28c) This model was sensitive to misdetection of temperature during warmup.

                          I checked the volt its goes down around 10 - 15 V les the user useing the same connector for the Pc and the machine and ( heater )
                          I'll try to change the machine place first to different room
                          I'll reply with the result

                              YES!
                              I remember Ricoh Tech recommending that these models should only be connected to a wall socket..... NO extension leads, to prevent fuser codes!! (I know this is common sense but customers WILL break the rules!)

                              It seems my memory isn't what it used to be!
