IM C4500 - Scan and Print out at the same time

I understand that the machine cannot do this natively, however, I seem to remember some weird way you could setup up a scan folder as the internal IP address of the copier, send a scan job there and it prints out instead. Any of this ring a bell? or am I crazy.

You can always scan to the Document Server. It can then be printed from the Document Server and downloaded to a PC through WIM.

If the device is printing i'm sure you can switch to the scan app & send scans at the same time ?

Sorry, let me try to be a little more clear.

The customer wants to walk up to the copier and scan something to a folder as well as making a copy of the original while only putting the original in the DF a single time.

The practical application of this that she relayed to me is as follows. She is a superintendent of a building with multiple tenants. She has to scan something ( I don't know what) to each of them on a monthly basis. She also needs a copy of this same something for an unknown reason. So every original needs to be scanned and needs a copy.

I know it is very specific and there are multiple ways to accomplish this with multiple steps. She is looking for a single step solution.
