Hi
Have you ever worked on a project where you were asked to connect two different readers to new SOP panels? The concept involves integrating an already operational Mifare reader while also incorporating a biometric reader . I asked customer to get VID/PID configured just in case. Furthermore, there is Papercut software installed, which previously functioned with Java embedded. However, due to Ricoh discontinuing Java support, all operations must now be performed via SOP, and the readers need to be connected directly to the panel (previously connected to the controller).
So Mifare works no issue but customer struggles to get biometric which simply just works as USB keyboard device
It is IM C range IM C400 to be precise but other devices on site too
Many thanks for any answers
