MPC2003 SC665-04

Hi,

Weird problem on this MPC2003
first got an error SC541 on my mail, customer called for a SC666 (?)
Arriving at customer saw a SC665-04, entering the SM mode, just Japanees language, also no firmware update possible

Took the machine to the store, changed BICU, Controll, OP, IOB and power boards, NVRAM's,no result at all

Someone seen this before? me not . .

usually when it goes in Japanese it's something about the nvrams, but you said you've already changed them, maybe you reversed them(?) You can still try to replace them with another recovered one, even of another model, (it still works). ..the main one is the one on the right, the 2

ah, I forgot, maybe this Japanese happened later, for sc665-04 try to replace the vaious ribbon-cables , someone gave problems


SC665-04 D
Connection error between BCU and imaging IOB, or imaging IOB and paper transfer IOB
IOB board failure
BCU board failure
Harness ground fault between BCU and IOB
5 volt power supply failure on IOB
Reconnect the FFC
Replace the FFC
Replace the IOB

No, when arrived never seen the SC541, just the SC665-04, SPmode does'nt work . .

Turned out to be the paper feed IOB !!

thank you so much for your feedback, we have a lot of mpc2003-2503, i never got this code, now if i get it, i can say..."i know the kung-fu!"
