Hi.All. having a problem on an aficio 2027, machine run's up and please
wait message stay's on screen.. disconnected the df.. interchange unit..
duplex units.. still please wait..!!! have tried software reboot.. The machine is a four hour drive away... so any help would be much appricated.

Disconnect Hard drive to see if it is ready or not . Mostly hard drive failure.

Thank's for reply LTD... there is no hard drive fitted to this machine..

Had a similar problem - needed to replace the print controller (located behind where the hard drive would be located).

check the fusing lamps and other fusing unit parts. I had a similar problem, solved by replacing the fixing lamp.

If machinne have NIC , disconnect it.

If you have on hand a controller (that one with the NVRAM on it) replace it.

Try changing the dislay not sure what bit of the display it is yet but the display will fix it

try replacing the print controller, or re do the developer, ive had a ricoh do this when the whole time it was trying to bring the dev up to speed aND the dv was bad or something, but changing it solved the issue. is it cycling like it trying to tone up?or is it just sitting there not doing anything?

I agree with Jummamaster. Check hot roller bearing ring, be sure it in place.

aficio... The problem was rectifed when i replaced the NVRAM on the controller pba....
