I bought a lightly used plock 350 finisher that I use offline. Today it threw a code bk-214. There is no tech in my area who is interested in looking at it. Is there anyone who can give instructions over the phone for a fair price? also would be nice to have a service manual. Thank you all

I have the newest manual, there is no bk-214 listed. Can you double check the code shown? Also, double check the model of Plockmatic.Comment

It is pbm 350m, I actually got a hold of a service manual and it doesn't have it listed. Not sure what to do from here.Comment

Now that you have the manual, see if it tells you how to get into the maintenance counters.
One other thing that caused some strange problems with the older models was the cover interlock assembly for the booklet portion. If it stills uses a two element interlock, the older models used a micro switch and a magnetic switch. If they did not sequence correctly, a bk error would be generated. I can't remember exactly what it was but I'm thinking it might have been an unlisted one. I had called the help desk on it but they had no idea what the error meant. It wasn't until I noticed that it always occurred after having opened the top to clear a jam or replace staples. What I ultimately found was that the bracket the assemble was mounted on had over time become bent.Comment

Everything. The grease they used to use tended to turn to glue or at least out here in triple digit summer climates. It would cause the crimpers to stick in the crimp position.Comment
