
Machine was working fine. Customer just replaced the toners. All 4. "Toner bottle is not set correctly" error appeared. Its indicating Black only. Rest are fine. No error code.
Things have been done:-
- Vacuumed the hopper
- Replaced the toner
- Checked the chip contacting pins inside the hopper. Not deformed.
- Looked in the service manual for solution
- Read the old threads about this problem
I read an old thread about this problem mentioning a technical bulletin. There is a firmware to fix this issue. Model GR-C1, GR-C1_8.5 inch, Ref: 117005J Ricoh.

Firmware is required to fix this problem. OR any other permanent solution.
