Has any repaired the cracked base on this document feeder. The tech bulletin shows all the parts needed for replacement but it comes to around 700 bucks. 42.99 for an original sponge mat film and you need 4 of them. Ouch. The base itself is 343.00. We will check for a lease return to maybe just swap it. If anyone has done this repair about how long did it take you to switch everything over to the new base?

Guess it is the same issue like the feeders MPC307, IM350.... - I think the frame cracks around the left hinge.
AFAIK there are modifications and repair parts available. I also used JB weld 2 component glue in the past with success,
but this kind of fix takes some time of course.
