    Ricoh c9100

    We purchased a Ricoh c9100 system, after connecting it it does not start properly. turns on the server but nothing else. The touch screen does not turn on. The indicator light is on as in the picture,The server also displays the message att: The connected keyboard and mouse do not work

    Yeah that's going to be something a technician has to look at.
    It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      This is a Prinect powered system, not a Fiery print server. I dont have much experience with Prinect but I think that is a licensed system by Heidelberg. So in order to use it you have to have a paid license. Good luck.

        Yeah, the error message under the watch dog popup a "license open error" Previous owner probably traded it in when the license expired. Since it is an open error, it might be that the system doesn't have internet access.

          Yes, it is a Heidelberg system, with the original dongle. The previous owner had already reported this problem. Apparently it's about differences in the system dates (Prinect) and the actual date

              The machine started, but after the second start, a message appeared as in the attachment. I am also sending a description of the error. The previous owner had a working machine. After purchase, it was packed and transported. Why is there such a problem now?

                Which is it? "The previous owner had already reported this problem." or "The previous owner had a working machine."

                SC694-01 then SC844-10 not able to calibrate Fiery or probably Prinect as well.

                You will have to contact Heidelberg and pat for support.

                The other option is to uninstall the Heidelberg system. Just reverse the installation steps. It is possibly similar to the Fiery installation other than the external controller code in SP.

                  The seller had a working machine byt he reported to heidelberg a problem with the operation of the RIP software. The problem occurred from time to time. The problem is related to system and software date differences. I guess it won't work properly without contacting hidelberg
