Checked the Dv units, Cyan and Magenta, seems allright.
When I enter for a "forced toner supple" in SP modus it gives a noise, high sound, loud.
Never had a problem like this on a C3004 . .

tonerhoppers not good?
making a black copy, its allright
making a color copy, the noise again. .

someone a clue here

Thanks in adcance
In my opinion, I think the problem is in the development units.
The noise could be caused by their hardening, losing component by the caps/busing and I wouldn't seem strange, that the pine nuts are damaged.

It has happened to me that the internal bushings that go before the sprockets of the developing unit that I sent in the photo with a red circle, are already worn out, they let the developer escape and when they are like that, they generate noise because the sprockets no longer lock together. Well, one turn if another doesn't and there is the noise.
I don't know if they sell the bushings but yes you should cha TTnge, if not, you should change the development unit, I think
you made me remember something that I always forget to check, for some time now I have had a strong suspicion that those bushings are the same as those of the martini series (at least one of the two) given that the metis ones are not there as spare parts, it would be a great if they were interchangeable, I have a few leaky units lying around, and I have the martini bushings in stock
