Ricoh Aficio MP2852, Data Clear for lease return

I need to do a data clear for lease return, so it needs to be operating.
I have formatted HDD, but SMTP setting and customers IP address are still there.

I found service mode 5801 memory clear, will this clear everything and still be operational??

I'm not a Ricoh tech!

SP 5801-010 and -011 should clear all the network settings. Never do -001 or -002. If you do you will be spending hours trying to manually adjust line position in order to get it close enough for the automatic adjustment to work.

Respectfully Tim, this is an old B&W beast, and I don't fret too much about doing a clear all on any B&W units when I want to wipe everything - especially if it's just going back to a leasing company.

Yes just run SP-5801 ALL clear this device won't have any issues after this, we do this on all devices, even colour.

Or since you have formatted the HDD this will have delete the address book. You manually delete the SMTP settings, just leave the fields blank.
