Ricoh 4504 ex SC-995-01 After replacing board

After replacing the main board of a working machine in another same model machine it is throwing error code. SC-995-01. I have checked 5811 SP mode. Serial # are same in BC & Display. FRAM is not showing.

    any suggestions?

    Many Thanks

Are the engine numbers on the serial number stickers the same?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Did you log into factory SP or regular SP?
I'm fairly certain that the one that is mismatching is the one contained in factory.
Log into factory and check 5811 again for any mismatch.

You need to put the nvram of the old pcb into the new one and set the serial no to sp5-811-004 and reboot

There are two NVRAMs M1 & M2. I have to replace both? and If after checking I will install the rams back to original board it will work after that ?

Whenever a pcb is changed, the nvram from the previous board is installed, as many as it has. I don't recommend that you play with NVRAM because they are easy to break, especially if you are not used to it.

And according to the service manual, you will still have to do sp5-811-004 and reboot.

Have to change serial number according novita. Can find it at factory sp mode.
The easiest solution, just use the old nv-ram, put back both 1 and 2, at the right spot. Then , no need to change serial number.
