    3035 grey background

Replaced dev, and hot roller inthis machine and cleaned everything as it was manky. The pcu has a mark on it so I'm replacing that tomorrow. But I can't figure out what is the cause of the background. I've done all the obvious drum earth, mag roller, t-belt, charge roller. Any input?

Could be the drum if it's old, or generic toner.

Also, if you didn't cover the entrance to the dev. unit when you initialized the TD sensor after replacing the developer, then used toner will fall into the dev. unit from the drum unit and will screw up your setting.
Don't take that toner with me!

This is often related to the charge roller. Maybe not touching tightly to the contacts.
