Ricoh MPC5501 wrinkles 11 x 17 paper

I have a Ricoh MPC5501 that wrinkles 11 x 17 paper only. It wrinkles on single sided copies. It does it from 3 trays and manual feed. I've tried the whole right door assembly, fuser, paper exit unit,bridge unit, new paper. If I stop the copier mid copy, there is no wrinkle before the fuser. Does anyone have any ideas?

If you have replaced the fuser with a known good one, you will need to try another brand of paper. I have run into substandard paper before that would absolutely not work in any machine.
