Are you connecting via the SOP wifi or do you have the optional wifi card / kit installed ?
The SOP wifi will not allow you to access the device WIM.
Let us eat, drink, and be merry, because tomorrow we may die!
For all your firmware & service manual needs please visit us at:
If the machine has a SOP you have to add the port after the IP Adress on your browser, ex: 192.168.1.20:53080
you can check the forwarding options in the menu "PORT FORVARDING" you have to turn it on, an there you can see a table with the assigned ports for various services (this because if you connect with WIFI the SOP have to forward the comands to the machine using the port forwarding option)
Right.....so essentially the ONLY thing you've managed to connect to your WIFI network is the operating panel (SOP)...not the actual machine.
To be able to print, scan and access the Web Interface of the machine you need to connect the actual machine itself to your WIFI network and the panel alone cannot do this.
You need a WIFI Range extender.
And...are you REALLY a tech?
You can tell us...
If you do not have a wired network jack near the C4504, you need to get a WiFi Range Extender with a LAN port and a patch cord to connect it to the C4504.
