    Aficio 1055 reg mylar

I can't figure out in the parts manual the correct part no for this thing(the mylar that sits behind the guide plate) does anyone have itand has anyone replaced one of these- it looks a bit shitty, help would be appreciated

looks worse than it is. right end covers off, rear upper cover, front door, duplex, dev unit, cover over meter and blue knobs, 2 motors off at the back and 4 screws that hold the regi ass. in,one or two connectors and I think thats it, give or take a part or two

Careful when assembling not to trap wires when offering up the regi ass. the edges are quite keen and will easily slice through them.

You can not "love" those babies...500/700 and 1055. I can not count the scars caused by the sharp edges...and God bless the guy who decided to redesign the scanner system on 1060's and newer machines cause 500...1055 is a nightmare. Cheers
