    Ricoh pro c5100 error sc 551-00

    hello, i have a problem with a ricoh, error sc 551-00 -with 5- 810-00 same problem -thanks for your help-

      Check the fuser unit for mechanical damage and try to reset the SC with SP 5-810-1. Does it appear again?

      If yes, try to find the reason as TonerMonkeh mentioned.

          this is a production copier. since you are not trained on it. it is very highly recommended that you call an actual trained ricoh tech... or else you could just end up bricking the copier.

            If you have not repaired the cause of the SC551, SP5-810 is not going to properly clear the error. Depending on the error, what it might do is destroy the fusing unit if you do it more then once in an hour.
