Finisher sr3210+mp5055: Sometimes doesn't staple some volume

Hi everyone, tomorrow I have to go and look at this problem, the machine was recently installed, and I checked both the machine and the finisher carefully before delivering them.
the customer reported to us that the finisher, during work, intermittently does not staple the volumes, I thought of the gathering roller, which intermittently does not correctly position the volume in the stapling position (in this case I might notice from the presence of staples on the bottom of the frame of the finisher).

I haven't found any information or TSB about it

I would like alternative feedback from you if this has already happened to anyone?...for have more cards to play

    Ciao

Check the sponge roller at the exit section (this roller pulls the paper back in staple position) it can be sticky over the years. After the paper comes out, this roller comes down and pulls the paper back, you can see it only during operation... It's hidden inside the exit section

I think too, it's a problem that also affects internal finishers, which use that replacement, which is also quite expensive (32 euros!)

....I don't understand why they insist on using that material of merda in that type of application ( ?)

[SOLVED] it was just that stupid gathering roller that got soggy, replaced with AF03-2094, thanks for your cooperation

Nice... now if only I could do that with the sponge rollers.

finding the right diameter, you could try cutting a piece of those insulating foam rubber tubes, which are used to prevent outdoor water pipes from freezing....but that's fine.
