    MPC2050 build quality?

Have any of you had many busted fuser lamps (SC555) and warped fusing exit frames on these models (Jam code 19)?

We are selling them like hot cakes mainly because they are cheaper MFDs.
But I'm not too sure about the build quality though.
I've noticed the RHS door does not always shut squarely and the print / scan modules takes a age to load.

    Opinions please?

We have had a busted fuser lamp and Ricoh had no stock and we had to wait almost 4 weeks before we received a replacement.
We had a very happy customer as you can imagine.

This is the one with the internal finisher. What a pain to install it in preflight. Just complaint from my techs who are running the preflight. From field until now not to many bad things except a gate that easy brakes (inverter one). Build quality is cheap...tons of cheap plastic (I think recycled)

We had the same 'no stock' problem.

We have replaced our forth fusing lamp now on four different MPC2050s so I would definitely order a couple extra for stock.

That's the same impression we are getting as well, cheap plastic and soft metal is not a good mix for when you consider how rough customers can be generally.

That's the battle...is no more about good products and how long will last...is about market share and who is no 1 on NA market...All the time the sales guys won the battle...a cheap product to be able to sell it fast...rated for 3 years (with tons of luck will last 3 years )...Who will buy it??? Everybody....because it's cheap...looks attractive and it's cheap again.
