    2035 ghost image

Copies look good for about 30 copies. Then I get a ghost image which is also black where it should be white and white where it should be black (reverse image).Have replaced Drum, cln blade and developer. The ghost image is only about an inch long and comes and goes.Anything less than 30 copies are fine.

    Check Drum Ground
Most of the time the operators need fixing, not the machine !!!

Maybe the Hot Roller / Pressure Roller is causing the ghosting. When you stop the machine before it enters the fuser you could see if the PCU is causing the ghosting or the fuser.

make a tube with the copy, lining up the ghost and original image. This will give you either the diameter of the drum or the fuser roll. One of them is not being cleaned.

I have seen something similar to this on a couple of 1045's and it was caused by a dirty polygon mirror with a slight hazy residue to it . A gentle wash with alcohol and a very soft optics cloth sorted both machines. May be worth a try.

i would say drum grounding and the the polygon and the mirrors inside the LD unit.
