Had one of these kick my tail all over the shop for the last two days. Replacing the HDD fixed it. I updated all firmware before this, but it didn't help. -
Try the newest firmware version: Engine v1.034, System v3.02, etc. if your machine will be able to boot.
Check the original card from this "sick machine" in a different unit to see if it's working. If it's working, disconnect HDD and try again. Next replace the memory....and last controller.Leave a comment:

I couldn't find a RTB for SC866 for this model, but there is a RTB for SC866 for the MPC6000.
That one is down to a system firmware bug.
SYMPTOM
SC866 (SD Card Error 1: Confirmation) occurs when installing an SD card option if the
System/Copy firmware is older than Ver1.05.
CAUSE
Due to a firmware bug (System/Copy), the machine cannot authenticate the SD card.
Note: There is nothing wrong with the SD card or application itself. The problem is with
the System/Copy firmware.Leave a comment:

mp6000 SD authentication error
A co worker of mine has a problem with a MP6000 throwing SD CARD AUTHENTICATION ERROR. Anyone know a fix for this? He has tried taking the sd card from another machine and same results.
